Please join us in cultivating a “LAC” or lake friendly lawn by embracing these guidelines. We can cleanse our lake, and all our local bodies of water, by reducing the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides on our landscapes. It is important to remember that what you put on your lawn will end up in our water and ultimately in your body. With time and patience, your landscape will flourish and be even more beautiful without chemicals, with rain water instead of constant manufactured irrigation, and with its own plant material such as clipped grass and fallen leaves which we recommend be allowed to remain on your lawn.
